Modern vehicles do not need a seasonal tune. In the past, fluids and even engine tunings would have to be adjusted for the warmer weather, but things have gotten easier.

However, if you have been putting off that oil change or vehicle checkup just because of the cold weather, now is the time to get that vehicle in so that it can properly enjoy the warm weather that’s coming.

Which coolant does your Chevy use?

For the most part, you do not have to change your tires for spring unless you are riding on winter tires. If you installed winter tires in fall or early winter, then it’s time to get those swapped out for your summer set. Winter tires will perform badly when the roads start heating up, and they can even lose tread at a rapid rate and fail prematurely.

Though you may not need a new set of rubber just because of the season change, it’s definitely a good time to take a look at those treads, especially if you have tax money left. Put that money to good use towards your safety, and make sure you are rolling around on rubber that will get you through the summer. Not sure how to check your tread? Holiday Automotive can help!
