The Chevy Bolt has been on our radar for quite a while because it was promised that the Bolt EV would offer a good driving range, and be highly affordable compared to many other EVs on the market. Not only is Chevy delivering on both of these, but the Bolt also has tons of great tech and safety features. Want to know what features does the 2017 Chevy Bolt come with? Take a look below!
Features in the 2017 Chevy Bolt
Many vehicles come with a standard LCD screen as part of their infotainment system, but how many can brag about a standard 10.2-inch screen that can be controlled with both touch and gestures? The interior tech in the 2017 Chevy Bolt will even dim and adapt automatically to prevent it from distracting you as the sun goes down, as seen below in our comparison image. Not only will the screen be able to take advantage of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but you can also use it to get a better view of your surroundings. The screen not only has a backup camera, but it actually gives you a complete 360-degree view of everything around you — making it easier than ever to park in a crowded area. Got someone tal in the back? Turn on the rear camera mirror to replace the traditional view from the rearview mirror with a realtime feed from a camera!

Safety Features in the 2017 Chevy Bolt
Most modern cars include plenty of safety features to keep you safe in case of a collision, and the Bolt is no different. It comes with 10 airbags, and uses a high-strength steel frame to keep you safe, but that’s not all. Along with this, is plenty of innovative tech to prevent an accident from ever occurring in the first place. Forward Pedestrian Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are all available to keep you fully aware of your surroundings. In the event of an accident, OnStar is available in the 2017 Bolt to automatically send out an alert.
