2018 GMC Terrain Engine Power and Specs
Under the hood, the 2018 Terrain will be nearly unrecognizable. It is available with three all-new turbocharged power plants.
One of these engines is a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel, which will certainly attract many drivers considering the popularity modern diesel engines have taken on. On top of that, there will be 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged options, pairing with two new and unique 9-speed automatic transmission.
2018 GMC Terrain Advanced Safety Features and Technologies
For 2018, the Terrain also sees an expanded range of safety features. New safety equipment includes the following: Surround Vision, Forward Collision Alert with Following Distance Indicator, Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and New Safety Alert Seat. Also new is the Rear Seat Reminder that reminds drivers to check the back seat when they exit the vehicle during certain situations, as well as Teen Driver features that help parents set controls for and keep track of their child’s driving.
