2. Search and purchase an auto glass repair or windshield crack repair kit at your local hardware store, automotive repair store, or auto glass repair shop.
3. Dry your windshield to room temperature using a hair dryer. Complete your auto glass repair in dry weather or park your vehicle inside.
4. Clean your windshield of any dirt and debris
5. Once clean, peel back the adhesive strip and apply it to the newly cleaned glass.
6. Center the adhesive strip over the chip
7. Burnish/rub the adhesive strip with a blunt object and peel away any remaining film.
8. Align the adapter to be as vertical as possible then place it on the film and burnish/rub with a blunt object once more.
9. Remove the cap off the syringe and attach it to the adapter.
10. Pull back on the syringe as far as it will go and create a vacuum by holding this position.
